Sahachakradi Kashayam is an Ayurveda medicine in the form of decoction, mainly prescribed in the treatments of rheumatic diseases, varicosity, assitude, back pain, Sciatica, Lumbar spondylosis etc.
It is a powerful and targeted Ayurvedic formulation for Vata-type pain and inflammation. Rasna (Pluchea lanceolata): A cornerstone herb for pain and inflammation, famous for its Vata-pacifying effects.
Eranda (Ricinus communis – Castor root): A powerful Vata-alleviating herb, particularly for severe pain and stiffness.
Bala (Sida cordifolia): A rejuvenative tonic that strengthens muscles and nerves.
Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia): An immunomodulator that also reduces pain and inflammation (Amavata/ Rheumatoid Arthritis).
Devadaru (Cedrus deodara): Has strong analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, excellent for joint pain.
Shallaki (Boswellia serrata): A well-known modern herb for its potent anti-inflammatory effects on joints.
Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris): Supports the urinary system and can help with pain related to Vata in the pelvic region.
Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa): Acts as a diuretic, helping to reduce swelling (shotha).
Nirgundi (Vitex negundo): A key herb for pain management, often called the “universal pain reliever.”
