Kizhi:

Kizhi is a special massage treatment of Kerala Ayurveda, various types of Kizhi treatment are available i.e., Njavara Kizhi, Muttakizhi, Podikizhi, Elakizhi, and Mamsakizhi. A pouch of herbal medicines or dried herbs powder bundled in a cotton cloth dipped in warm medicated oils and applied massage in specific areas like the patient’s back, neck, shoulders, and joints or the whole body which can induce vigor and vitality. It brings an equilibrium of the body, mind, and soul. These treatments are very effective for relieving pain due to sprains, rheumatic pain, etc.

Sirodhara:

Sirodhara is a method in the  Ayurvedic treatment process of pouring medicated oils and other liquids applying to our forehead is called Sirodhara. Siro means Head and Dhara means flow. Sirodhara is an Ayurvedic treatment method. A flow of aromatic oils on the forehead between eyebrows leads to a balancing effect on the deepest recesses of the brain, the lukewarm medicated oils are allowed to flow over the scalp and through the hair for a defined period. A gentle relaxing massage accompanies this oil. It is an effective therapy for mental relaxation. The procedure also enhances blood circulation to the brain, generally releasing deeply trapped toxins.

Vashti:

Vasti is an Ayurvedic treatment method to expel body toxins and vitiated doshas by introducing medicated liquids or oils through the anus, urethra, or vagina. This treatment is used to flush out the loosened doshas through the intestinal tract. Applying sesame oil, calamus oil, or other medicated decoctions mix in a liquid medium through the rectum to flush out doshas. This method is medicated Enema removing unwanted internal substances by applying herbal extracts or medicated oils.
