Five-Leaved Chaste Tree – Vitex negundo – is a small tree or shrub, an erect, grow up to 8 m tall. The leaves are pale green and young leaves are purple, leaf margin toothed and covered in hair on upper area, leaflets are five lanceolate, center leaflet is largest, in a stalk, about 10 cm in length. The flowers are many, borne in panicles; white to pale blue, up to 20 cm long. The bark is brown. The fruit is a drupe, ovate, purple in color, 4 mm in diameter, when ripe.

How to prepare medicines:
