Hindi: पारस पिपल paras papal, Bassari, Palhi
Malayalam: Kallal-കല്ലാൽ, Kallarayal-കല്ലരയാൽ
Indian rock fig is very similar to the Peepal tree, it grows up to 20-25 feet tall, but its leaf borders are wavy margins and its tips are tapering, pointed but not long, the bark is the useful part of this tree to prepare Ayurveda medicines.
Medicinal uses:
To treat vata and pitta, skin, diseases, leprosy, pruritus, Vaginopathy, inflammation and diarrhea, scabies, wounds, diabetes, burning sensation, etc.
