Vyswanara choornam

Vyswanara choornam, also known as Vyoshadi choornam, is an Ayurvedic herbal powder formulation. It is commonly used in traditional Indian medicine, Ayurveda, for treating respiratory disorders and related conditions.

The term “choornam” in Sanskrit refers to a powdered herbal mixture. Vyoshadi choornam is primarily composed of herbs like Vacha (Acorus calamus), Haritaki (Terminalia chebula), and others. The combination of these herbs is believed to have properties that help in clearing respiratory passages and providing relief from conditions like cough, cold, and congestion.

It is prepared according to the reference of Chakradatta Amavachikitsa, Sahasrayoga, and Astangahridayam

Please note that while Ayurvedic remedies have been used for centuries and are considered holistic in approach, it’s important to consult a qualified healthcare practitioner or Ayurvedic expert before using any herbal formulation. They can provide guidance based on your specific health condition, as some herbs may have contraindications or interactions with other medications or conditions.
