Turmeric-Curcuma longa is a perennial herb, that grows to an average height of 75 cm tall. The leaves are arranged alternately, in two rows, about 35 cm wide, oblong to elliptic, and tapered at both ends. Rhizomes are orange, cylindrical, and aromatic. The flowers are multicolored with pink, light green, and white at the terminals.
