Truna Pancha moolam

2. Attu darpha  (ആറ്റുദർഭ) – Halfa grass, Big cordgrass -Desmostachya bipinnata 

3. Odal (ഓടൽ ) – Desert date.- Balanites roxburghii  Planch

4. Nannana  (നന്നാണ ) – Kans grass- Saccharum sponaneum

5. Karimbu (കരിമ്പ്‌ )  – Sugar cane- Saccharum Officinarum Linn. Gramineae
