Plant description:

It is a large tree of Western Ghats forest ares, deciduous tree , grow up to 28 meters,wide spreading and stem grow up to 2 m diameter. The leaves are pinnately arranged, lanceolate, 4 to 13 cm long, pale green, toothed margin,arranged alternately, five to seven leaflets, tapered at both ends.The flowers are small, white, fragrant, about 5 mm. The wood is pink, light weight and fragrant like cedar.
