Thankan Bhasmam

Tankan Bhasma is a specialized Ayurvedic medicine created from purified borax (Tankana Kshara). Chemically known as sodium pyroborate, this alkaline substance is traditionally sourced from the dried lake beds of Tibet, Nepal, and Iran, where it is found in a raw form called Tinkal. In Ayurveda, it is primarily used to treat conditions such as amenorrhea (lack of menstruation), cough, and bronchitis. It also serves as a key ingredient in numerous other Ayurvedic formulations.
