Plant description:

Red physic nut (Baliospermum montanum) is a stout under a shrub, that grows to 0.9 to 1.8 m tall, leaves are simple, toothed, and somewhat palmate, with 3 to 5 lobed, and flowers are numerous, arranged in axillary racemes. Fruits are obovoid, capsules containing ellipsoid, smooth seeds.
