Plant Description Peppergrass:-

Peppergrass or Garden Cress is a fast-growing annual herb growing at the height of 60 cm tall and, with many branches, it is edible and peppery, tangy flavor and aromatic. Flowers are blue in colour.

Medicinal uses:

In the treatment of asthma, coughs, sprains, leprosy, skin disease, dysentery, diarrhoea, splenomegaly, leucorrhoea, lumbago, scurvy and seminal weakness.

Chemical content:

glutamic acid , luecin, linolenic acid and erucic acid.

How to prepare medicines:

The seeds are employed for removing pain, swelling, inflammation etc., it can cure asthma, bronchitis bleeding piles. Aashali is used to treat indigestion and constipation.
