It is found throughout Western Ghat areas, it is an endemic, perennial, tall tree, growing up to 8 meters tall, it commonly grows in hot temperatures. Leaves are 11 cm and 4 cm, elliptic, dark green, ovate-oblong, margin entire, and venation reticulated; its flowers are small and yellow in color.
