Plant description:

It is an erect shrub, commonly found in the Himalayas; grows up to 3 meters in height, spiny, woody plant, and its bark is yellow to brown. The bark is spiny, with three-branched thorns. The leaves are simple, lanceolate, leathery and toothed margin, in tufts of 5-8, 5 cm long, and 2 cm broad, the flowers are yellow, borne in clusters of 12-16. Fruits are berries, aconite-violet in color, ovoid or globose, born in clusters.

Medicinal uses: Anti-malarial, Urinary troubles, anti-bacterial, Anti-fungal, Anti-viral, treat burns and wounds, diarrhea, jaundice, eye disorders, and skin disorders.
