Garlic-Allium sativum is a perennial plant, is a bulb, white in colour, growing up to 60 cm tall, monoecious, pollinated by insects and bees, leaves are long, tubular and light green, need full sunlight to grow. It contains amino acids, leaves are flat and fleshy, green in colour, and flowers are white in color.

Medicinal uses:
Garlic is an antibiotic and Anti-fungal, to treat smallpox, gas trouble, TB, eye pain, to reduce cholesterol, Venereal Diseases, irritable bowel, diarrhea, Dysentery, and Gastrointestinal Problems. Chemical content: phytoncide, allicin, allixin (Cancer preventive), Allyl Methyl Sulfide. It reduces gastric problems, as an insecticide, germicide, colds, coughs, flu, gastric complaints, hypertension, liver disorders, gallbladder disease, and as an anthelmintic.
