Plant description of Bird’s eye chili

Bird’s eye chili is an annual or perennial herb, leaves are dark green, tapered to both end. Flowers are white, berries commonly dark green or white or yellow, when ripe it become orange-red, grow erect, conical to ovoid in shape. They are pungent, growing 10 to 20 mm long.

Medicinal uses:

To control Vata disorders, indigestion, gas trouble,  toothache, cholesterol, rheumatism and joint pains. it increases metabolism and it helps to reduce overweight.

How to prepare medicines:

Crushed the leaves with black pepper and raw turmeric is given to chicken to cure poison due to eating of poisonous insects.
