Plant description:

The bilimbi tree deciduous, tree reach at the height of 5 to 10 m., leaves are 3 to 6 cm long, are alternately arranged, cluster at branch end. Flowers are small and in clusters color is dark brown, fruits are green and watery, it is sour in taste, seeds are small and brown in color.

Fruit is used to treat inflammatory conditions, fruit of the bilimbi was used to control obesity.

How to prepare medicine:

Decoction of the leaves is capable to reduce Cholesterol Level. Boil one or two leaflet in one glass of water and drink daily in the morning, repeat this for three days.

Fruits can consume as curry or pickle is also helpful to reduce cholesterol.
